How long does it take to set up? top

Typically, it takes about 15 minutes for you to create your employer account and set up your first employee. You should reserve 10 minutes for setting up each additional employee. MyHRP can help with setup.

What's included in the MyHRP service? How much does it cost? top
The Services Overview page offers many kinds of information about our services, including features, prices, and a walk through so you can see how the service works, company information, and testimonials.

Is it safe for me to enter my credit card and other confidential information online? top
MyHRP uses Secure Socket Layer (SSL) with 128-bit strong encryption to ensure that the information you send us is protected against unauthorized use. You can help maintain the security of your information by keeping your user name and password secret (especially from your employees). Choose a password that is at least 8 characters long; use numbers as well as letters so that your password does not spell a word that could easily be decrypted.

What are the system requirements for using MyHRP? top
You will need Internet access; Microsoft® Internet Explorer (IE) version 5.5 or later, or Netscape Navigator®, version 4 or later; a compatible printer; and Omnis Web Client®. Your browser must be set to accept cookies (see "How do I turn cookies on"). Your browser must be set to use "Active Scripting" (see "How do I enable Active Scripting"). Unless you have changed your browser settings, it is probably set up to accept cookies and to allow Active Scripting.

MyHRP opens "popup" windows for many features. If you have installed software to kill popup windows, you must add the MyHRP site to the software's "white list." Or you may have to turn the popup killer off or uninstall it to use MyHRP.

How do I install Omnis Web Client on my computer? top

You need the Omnis Web Client to see and print reports within MyHRP.

1. After logging in, go to the reports link from the MyHRP interface
2. Click the red Download button.
3. At the File Download window, select "Open" or "Run" and click OK to download the Omnis Web Client, a small program that will download and install on your machine.

The Download Manager begins downloading, which can take a few minutes. This process can also take a few minutes. Finally, the installation process begins. When installation is complete, it's a good idea to restart your computer.

Note: The first time you print some reports the Omnis web client will ask you to download some form controls in order to complete printing of the reports.

Can I sign up for MyHRP's service in the middle of a calendar year? top

You can sign up for MyHRP's service and add employees at any time midyear, although we recommend starting at the beginning of a calendar quarter. To ensure correct tax calculations and summary reports, you need to enter year-to-date information about earnings and tax payments. (MyHRP screens will show what you need to enter.) In addition to entering pay history, you will enter the taxes you have already paid this year (before your first MyHRP tax payments). For each employee, you will also want to enter the current hours available for vacation and sick pay.
